    Hi!, Can you tell me the fastest way to change the Salesforce login user for our forms that integrate with Salesforce?

    Hi Sharma,

    Thank you for reaching out to Jotform support. Let me help you on how to change the Salesforce account integrated on your form.

    1. On your Form builder, click on Settings.
    2. On the settings menu, click on Integrations then select Salesforce.
    3. After selecting Salesforce, please click on Remove Integration.
    4. After removing the integration.
    5. Select Salesforce again then select the option +Use another account to login using a different Salesforce account.

    That will be VERY inconvenient. It takes a long time to recreate a multi-step Integration.

    Hi Sharma,

    Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, there's no other way to switch your integrated Salesforce account to a different User Account, but to manually remove the current integration, and integrate Jotform to Salesforce again.

    Hi again! Can you track down a technical question? Another option is to repurpose the user that is integrated with Jotform --- But what can we change on the SF user integrated with Jotform before it breaks the connection?

    Can we change the SF user first and last name?

    Can we change the SF user email address?

    Can we change the SF user username?

    What would cause the integration to disconnect?

    Our purpose here would be to keep the SF user active, but repurpose it for a general Integrations and Solutions User.

    Alternatively, what would happen if I just revoked the token for Jotform on the SF User. Would that force a login to another user? (And not have to re-recreate all the integration steps?)

    Hi Sharma,

    Thanks for getting back to us. In my experience, changing the account password might force the authentication process however logging in using a different account will force you to re-create all the Actions you have created on the previous integration. The reason behind this is that the Salesforce Objects are associated with a different account and it will not load in the integration. Unfortunately, there is no other way to change the account without re-creating all the actions in the integration.

    Hi! Can you confirm that changing a user password will break the whole Jotform integration? Most Orgs require a password reset regularly. I can't imagine all those clients of Jotform recreating all their integrations each time there is a password reset.

    Thanks for getting back to us. Changing a user password does not necessarily break the whole integration. Regularly updating your password helps protect your account from unauthorized access.

    What can we change on the SF user integrated with Jotform before it breaks the connection?

    Can we change the SF user first and last name?

    Can we change the SF user email address?

    Can we change the SF user username?

    What would cause the integration to disconnect?

    We'll need to change the SF User Account that's used on the Jotform Integration User, but we don't want to break the OAuth token.
