PDF: Customize problems

Is there ANY other way to customize the PDF form?  The functionality on the customizer is extremely buggy. Even after hitting save, it more often than not undoes all of the changes you just made.  Sometimes when editing one field, it actually edits another field.  It doesn't allow you to change the text in the field labels if you add a field from the form.  The only way is to delete the field label and add a new one as text but then you have to figure out which data field matched up with the field you deleted and the alignment gets messed up.

Is it possible to upload a word document and then map the applicable fields to the uploaded template???

There HAS to be a better way than the current customizer.

I looked back through the forums and users have been complaining about this for over a year but I dont see any responses with a fix or resolution.

Unfortunately there is the only way you can modify PDF's in Jotform:

Another approach you could take is to download your submissions in Excel format and then export them in PDF:
