How to access the prior entry in form drafts before it got overwritten?

    Hi there,

We started a form, and then we click 'save'. Then, when we fill out a new form with updated/new information and save it, the initial draft disappears, leaving us only with the form containing the latest information.

Is there a way to save partial submissions even if we didn't click "save and continue"?

For example, we use Forms to do instructor evaluations. At one given time, we might be evaluating 2 - 5 staff at at a time and want to be able to go back to their form/their evaluation and make edits. Currently we can't do it.

Tried following this, but it didn't help - https://www.jotform.com/help/227-how-to-enable-autofill-on-forms/#discard-start-over-continue-with-draft

    Hello TLpool,

Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. Unfortunately, there is currently no possible way or workaround to access information stored in a draft once it has been overwritten by a new response from your users. As a workaround, you can look into adding an edit link to your notification emails, you can set it up so that anyone who submits your form can edit it after they've submitted it. It's easy, let's do it:

    • Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    • In the Settings menu, click on Emails and hover your mouse over the Autoresponder Email.
    • Click on the Pencil icon, and in the window that opens, click on the Form Fields dropdown menu and select Edit Link.
    • After adding the link, click on Save, and you're done.

After submitting the form, the submitters will get an email like the one below:
