Add an option to populate the Autocomplete Widget globally using an API or a central JotForm list

Could you please help with another question I have regarding the autocomplete widget.

We currently have hundreds or forms and most of them use our autocomplete fields. All of them need to be updated manually when a single new name is added or removed from our contacts. This is usually a 3+ hrs job each time.

Is there a way we can populate autocomplete fields options using an API or linking it to a central JotForm list etc?

This is extremely important for us.

    Thank You

I'm afraid this isn't doable - Each form is treated as its own entity with its respective settings for each widget. Widgets behave in a similar manner too, even on a single form. This means each of them will always have its own unique settings/options.

If you need to update the AUTOCOMPLETE WIDGET, this has to be done manually for each form (and even for each widget if you have multiple instances of it on a form).

I elevated your thread as a feature request. Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the amount of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.

We can't give you any timeframe but we'll keep you apprised on this same thread when there's an update.
