How can I turn off auto-population in a field?

I'm wondering how to turn OFF auto-populating in a field. When we start typing a name into the cell and enter to automatically fill in the rest of the name, it proceeds to put that person's name in the next 8 rows. They then need to be manually deleted so we can carry on filling out the form.

    How can I fix this?

(BTW, I am LOVING using Jotform. Lots of it is beyond me, but I'm learning so much, and the help centre is EXCELLENT! Thanks!)

    Hi Carla,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you please provide the form URL you are having issues with? Also, it would help us to understand what’s happening if you could take a screen recording using Loom and send it to us.

However, you might want to try to disable the Allow Browser Autocomplete feature in the Form Settings. Let me show you how:

    1. Click Settings in Form Builder.
    2. In the Form Settings tab, click the Show More Options button.

    3. Scroll to the bottom and toggle the Allow Browser Autocomplete to OFF.

Can you give it a try and see if it makes a difference? If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Let us know if you need any more help.
