Selecting 'other' in the Multiple Choice Field is not counting towards required response

Hello,

I have a form https://www.jotform.com/build/240932502479458. Some of the dropdown options include an 'other' option. These questions are also required. But when I select 'other' it does not count it as meeting the required response constraint. So I've selected 'other' but it gives me an error 'this field is required'. Please help.

Can you try it again and see how it goes? If you run into the same issue again, let us know, and we'll do some more testing to see what's going on.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. I've cloned your form and tested it. At first I had the same issue, however, I was able to get it to work after removing the Others option and then adding it back on the form. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on the affected field.
2. Hove the mouse over the Other option and click on x.
3. Add it back to the options.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Thankyou. That worked! There is an inbuilt option in this element to add
'Other'. I was using that inbuilt option and that is what was not working
properly.
