Several questions for weight loss program

    Hello,

I've got several questions for functionality I'm trying to create an app for use in our weight-loss program. I have the following questions about desired functionality:

    1. I want to have a high-level daily planning form, it will be filled out in the morning with the plan for eating for the day. I would like to create a button (ideally next to each meal with pre-fill saved variables) that will both save the current form for later editing, and open up a new form that let's them report on how a meal actually went (different set of questions.) How do I create this button? Can it be done with the default Save/Submit button and adjust the thank you page?
    2. I would like to add a button to a report that allows the user to open up a form. To give a specific example, we have an emotional-status form that will be filled out repeatedly through the day. I want to create a report that summarizes the data for end of day, and prompts the user to fill out the end-of-day-evaluation form.
    3. Is it possible within the app to generate a prompt for the user? For example, prompting them to fill out the periodic form above. I'd like to prompt the user to fill out that form at fixed times through the day.
    4. I want to adjust a report so that it only pulls data for a fixed time period (e.g. "today" or "this week.") How do I do that? Also, how do I make sure a report only pulls data for a single user?

    Thank you!

    Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching back to us and I apologize for the delay in our update. When you create an app, you can add forms form and button. Let me show you how:

    How to add form/s:

    1. On the App Builder, click on Add Element.

    3. Click on Settings.
    4. On Button Text, you can edit the button text.
    5. You can link this button to an external URL, send email open a form and etc. In your case, I believe you'd like to like it to open a form which is one of the options.Several questions for weight loss program Image 6 Screenshot 125

Unfortunately, a prompt message or a modal pop up is not possible to be added on the App yet. You can only add a static paragraph element that has your desired text/message.

When users submits the form with the app, you can see the submission data on the Submission and theres an option to filter the data if you only wants data from specific user.

Give it a try and let us know if you need more help.

    1. Can I have a button within a form that leads to another form?
    2. I want to adjust a report so that it only pulls data for a fixed time period (e.g. "today" or "this week.") How do I do that? Also, how do I make sure a report only pulls data for a single user?
