Google Drive Integration: Ability to change submission PDF file name

Hi Guys,

I have linked my Google Drive integration to receive completed forms, which works great. Yet forms are coming like this: 5889141696774643811.pdf. Is there a way to set the file name as a form field or 2 fields so i know who owns each PDF?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's easy to change the PDF attachment filename. Let me walk you through it:

1. In the Form Builder, click on the app selector panel in the upper-left corner of the page, and select PDF Editor.
2. Click on the Gear icon on the right side of the page.
3. From the PDF Settings, click the Pencil icon of the PDF File Name, select +Form Fields, and choose the form fields that you want to choose as the file name of the PDF.

Thanks for the screenshots. I understand things much better now. Unfortunately, there is no way to change the filename of uploaded files in Google Drive or Dropbox integrations at this time. Right now, the only option is to change the name of the folder that will be created.

We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. After you followed the steps my colleague Lorevie provided, you need to select the correct PDF file from Form Builder's Integration section. Let me walk you through it:

• After you edited your PDF name, go back to Form Builder.
• Click on Settings at the top, then go to Integrations > Google Drive integration.
• Select the PDF in the Send submissions PDF to Google Drive section and click on Save.
