I currently have the following support question open:

    https://www.jotform.com/answers/1361959-Are-you-GDPR-compliant

Whilst awaiting to hear back from your developers about when you will be GDPR compliant can you please let me know the following:

If, once data is collected on a form, the data is downloaded and then deleted does it still appear on your server or would it be deleted completely.

    Thanks

If you deleted the submission data in the Submission Panel, it will also be deleted from our server and it is not recoverable. Here's a guide on how to delete submission data: https://www.jotform.com/help/377-How-to-Delete-Form-Submission-Data

You can also enable the Encrypted Form Data feature to your form so only with Private Key can view the submission data. Even JotForm won't be able to read it unless you provide the Private Key. For more information, please check this link: https://www.jotform.com/help/344-Encrypted-Forms-and-How-to-Use-Them

I hope this information helps. If you have questions, please contact us again.

    Thank you.

Thank you for your prompt response.

The encrypted forms sound perfect but I need to download the submissions into an excel file - is there any way that this can be done?

    Thanks

I'm afraid that you cannot export submissions from Encrypted form to Excel. The data will stay encrypted.

Since, when you decrypt the data, it will be decrypted only in the page you're viewing it (submissions page, submission email).

Let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you!
