Is there a way to EDIT a submission on a form that has REQUIRED fields without being forced to answer the required fields, if they are not applicable?

    Please advise.

Not really sure what you are trying to do, are you looking to leave required fields empty in edit submission mode?

Yes... I am looking to be able to EDIT a submission (not a form) that has several fields that are marked as required. I would like to be able to submit my changes without being forced to answer required fields that are not applicable.

The fact that the form can't be submitted in the first place without answering the required fields, there should always be a value when you edit the submission. Unless you want to delete the field values in the required field when you edit them. Is this what you are going to do?

Anyway, there's a workaround by unrequiring the fields in edit mode so you can submit the form. This may raise confusion on getting empty value on required fields so we trust you understand.

Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/389-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-on-Edit-URL (instead of show/hide condition, select Enable/Require Field condition.
