I understand that the information that a client might fill out in a form I create is secure, but are the auto-response emails that contain all that same information that get sent to them as a "receipt" also secure?

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that the Notification Emails (Notifications and Autoresponders) are secure, we use Transport Layer Security (TLS) that encrypts mail for secure delivery. You can read this page about Jotform Security.

Also, you can also limit only the information that the user will receive after submission by modifying the email content of your Autoresponder. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
    2. Go to the Emails tab on the left side menu, and click the Add email button.
    3. Select the Autoresponder and update the email content in the Email tab.
    4. Hit on Save to update changes in the notification email. Are emails and autoresponses sent from Jotform secure? Image 1 Screenshot 30

That's it! Test your form and the user will receive a notification without any submitted details. Check out my screenshot below:

You can also check out this guide on Setting Up Autoresponder Emails.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Jotform uses industry-standard encryption protocols (such as SSL/TLS) to secure data transmission between their servers and users' devices. This ensures that emails and auto-responses sent from Jotform are encrypted during transit, making it difficult for unauthorized parties to intercept or access the content.Jotform stores form submissions and user data in secure data centers with robust security measures in place. This helps protect the information contained in emails and auto-responses stored within their systems.
