Hello,
We have a complex project intake form that is designed to create leads in Salesforce. We would like much of this information to land in a single "Description" field on our Leads inside Salesforce.
When building out the calculated field in the background, I tried using the <br/> tag as suggested in this solution: https://www.jotform.com/answers/12083741-form-calculation-widget-how-to-apply-line-breaks
Unfortunately, we still get a single mass of text.

Hi Daniel,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, using the <br/> tag does not work in the Short Text element. However, you can use the Long Text element instead to achieve your requirements. Here's how to do it:
- Add a Long Text element to your form.
- Click Settings in Form Builder.
- Go to the Conditions tab.
- Hover your mouse over the condition and click the Pencil icon to edit.
- Replace the Short Text field with your created Long Text field in the Summary section.
Sample Result:
You can test my demo form or clone it to see the changes made in the cloned form.
Give it a try, and let us know how it goes.
- Add a Long Text element to your form.
