Export multiple choice field in separate columns

    Bonjour,

    Hi Anne,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our French Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in French, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, the multiple choice field is a single field which means that all the selected options will be added under one column. We can help you find a workaround. Can you share the URL of the form? Here's our guide on Where to Find Your Form URL.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help.

    Hi Anne,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, as my colleague mentioned, it's currently not possible to separate the options of the Multiple Choice element into different columns in the Submissions Table. As a workaround, you can add a Multiple Choice element for each option. This way, a separate column will be created for each option in the Submissions Table. If that works for you, I can walk you through setting that up:

In Form Builder, add the separate Multiple Choice elements. On the other options, do not add a label, same as below:

However, you can double-click the column, then type a name to change the name:

While the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
