Autoresponder Email Inquiry

Hi Jotform,

My guess is this is unlikely, but can an autoresponder be triggered to an email address filled in on a form?

This is one of the forms in question: https://form.jotform.com/240986047644162. We have one autoresponder set up to the filler of the form - that's fine.

But youth are completing this form and we are asking for their parent's contact info, including the parent's email address.

We would love an autoresponder to go to the parent's email in this field: "Parent/Gaurdian/Emergency Contact Email."

Is that possible or can the autoresponders only go to the person who fills out the form? Thank you!

Hi Julia,

Thanks for patiently waiting. We can add a new Autoresponder that will go to the content of the element "Parent/Gaurdian/Emergency Contact Email" in your form. Here's how to do it:

1. In Form Builder, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. Click on the Emails tab on the left side of the page.
3. Click the + Add Email button on the Emails window.
4. In the New Emails window, select the Autoresponder Email option.
5. In the Autoresponder window, go to the Recipients tab.
6. In the Recipients tab, go to the Recipient Email dropdown menu and select "Parent/Gaurdian/Emergency Contact Email".
7. Click the Save button.
