How to send email from the Jotform Table

    Hi there, I am not a member yet, but I have a question about capabilities. I need to create a form and based on respondent answers I need to look up information in a table and then send an email with specific information from the table to an email address that also comes from the table. Is that something I can do with jotform and jotform tables? This will be a support form and, based on choices clients make, I look them up in the table and then populate an outgoing email with information found in the table (their support contract type, the names of individuals who can authorize certain changes, etc) and then send an email to a support address also found in the table.

    Hi Chad,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We have the feature that will send an email with the submission data from the Jotform Table. You'll need to add the Email Button in the table, set the settings of the email, and select which form field data will appear. The email will be sent to the email address that the responder entered into the email field. Adding an Email Button to your Jotform Table is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, select your form and click on Submissions at the top of the page.
    2. In Jotform Tables, click on the Add button at the end of the rows, and go to the Buttons tab.
    3. Now, select Send Email, click on Next, and select the Email template.
    4. Hover your mouse on the available template and click on the pencil icon to edit the template.
    5. To add new email template, click on the Create an Email, select Autoresponder, and then click on the Next button.

    6. Click on the Form Fields button at the upper right to select which field would you like to fetch the data from.

    7. Make sure to click on the Save button once done.
    8. Now, just click on Create Column and you're done.
