SMTP: Form fillers not receiving Autoresponder email

    One of my registrants, Perry Phillips, reports that he has not been receiving confirmation emails.

    I have 2 auto-responders set up. First goes to registrant and second goes to myself.

    I am receiving the confirmation from the 2nd auto-responder but he is not receiving his

    further, I checked my activity log and I don't see an email to him nor do I see the activity for the email that I received on April 21 for his registration

    Perry also reports that he did not receive his notification on Feb 26 after he registered on this form

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry that this is happening. It seems you're using a Custom sender or SMTP. Could you please verify in your sent folder whether the emails were indeed sent successfully to the SMTP sender from our end?

    Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi Kenneth

    I'm not super technical... so I have no idea what you mean by the above.

    Can you instruct me on how to check above re:SMTP?

    And just to clarify, I'm referring to my AUTORESPONDER (image attached)

    oh, i checked in my settings

    found the smtop reference in jotform

    my authentication failed

    I must have had an old password in there

    I changed it

    hope it works now

    Hi Chris,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. We're glad that you're able to figure out the root cause of the issue. Now, you can resend the email to Perry Phillips through the Jotform Table. All you need is to add the Email button and then send the Autoresponder Email. Adding an Email Button to your Jotform Table is easy. Let me show you how:

    1. On your My Forms page, select your form and click on Submissions at the top of the page.
    2. In Jotform Tables, click on the Add button at the end of the rows, and go to the Buttons tab.
    3. Now, select Send Email, click on Next, and select the Autoresponder Email.
    4. Now, just click on Create Column and you're done.

    Now, when you click on the Send Email button, an email that includes the submission information will be sent to the email address you selected. Visit also our guide on How to Send an Email With Form Data in Jotform Tables.
