Can I create invoices in bulk?

Hi,

Is it possible to generate invoices in bulk using an API? I would like to be able to generate several hundred invoices, and email a unique link to each client (I'm fine doing the emails myself if needed). Each client could then click the link and pay the invoice online using JotForm.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I apologize for the confusion on your question. Are you referring to creating a form where your user can access it to pay for their invoices? If so, yes, this is possible. Let me show you how:

1. First, create your form, and add the fields that you need for your form.
2. In the Form Builder of the created form, go to the Payments tab from the panel menu on the left, and select your Payment Processor.
3. Connect your account to the Payment Processor selected, select Sell Product in the Payment Type section, and enter a name for the product and amount.
4. Finally, click on Save.

Now that the form is created, you can now create a Manual Prefill. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on Publish from the top bar menu, and click on Prefill from the left panel menu.
2. Then, select Manual Prefill.
3. Next, click on the + Add New Prefill, prefill the information that you want, and click on Create.
4. Finally, click on the Three Vertical Dots icon in the created prefill and select your preferred action.

Thanks for getting back. I do want to prefill a form, but I would like to do it using an API, not manually, since we need to generate hundreds of invoices at once. I would like my system to be able to call JotForm, pass in the prefill information for a specific client, and get back a unique URL that can be sent to the client. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks for getting back to us. You can use our available API on this page to retrieve submission data from a form. As for a unique URL, unfortunately, it is not possible to generate a unique URL since you are generating the invoices on your system which is outside our platform.
