    Hi Jotform team,

Can you explain why I cannot map to the standard Salesforce field Pronouns which is a single select picklist?

    Thanks,

    Pia

    Hi Pia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Predefined choices are required for the pick-list element in Salesforce, meaning that the field in both Salesforce and Jotform need to have the same predefined options.

Can you try it again after setting up predefined options and see how it goes? Let me show you how you can set the options:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder, and click on the element that you are integrating with Salesforce.
    2. Click on the Gear icon that appears on the side of the element, and in the menu that appears on the right side of the screen, click on Options tab.
    3. Set the choices under Options, and try to map the field again in Salesforce.

If you run into the same issue again, can you share the form link and a screenshot of the field? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this.

    Hi Arslan,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I have it set up as a predefined dropdown with the same values as the standard Pronouns field in Salesforce. It’s just not listing that field in Salesforce. I have even tried to create a new form from Salesforce, and it doesn’t allow me to pick Pronouns.

    Hi Pia,

Thanks for getting back to us. I'm sorry this is happening. Can you share the form URL that you are working on? This is for us to do some testing. Can you also take a screenshot of what’s happening in your Salesforce and send it to us? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we have a better idea of what’s going on, we’ll be able to come up with a solution.

    1. Salesforce introduced a standard Pronouns field to allow users to specify their preferred pronouns.
    2. However, this field may not be directly accessible in Jotform integrations.
    3. Jotform's integration with Salesforce might not yet support the new Pronouns field.
    4. As a workaround, consider using a custom field in Salesforce to capture pronoun data from Jotform.
    5. Map the custom pronoun field in Jotform to your Salesforce instance for data transfer.
    6. This custom mapping allows you to collect phn insurance data and manage pronoun data in a consistent manner.
    7. Keep track of Salesforce updates for possible improvements in Jotform integration.
    8. Maintain open communication with Jotform support for the latest integration capabilities.
    9. Regularly test the integration to ensure data is being transferred accurately and reliably.
    10. Document any challenges or discrepancies encountered during the integration process.
    11. Stay informed about Salesforce's updates on the Pronouns field for potential solutions.
    12. If necessary, consider phn (phone) support for further assistance with integration issues.

    Hi piar,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at Jotform right now. We've gone ahead and escalated your request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
