Does Jotform have plans to support OAuth from Google?

Hi there, I was able to get my gmail added as a sender within the Jotform settings, however it appears that this is only going to be temporary. It looks like gmail will stop supporting the "less secure apps" feature at some point this summer and will instead force OAuth. Is this something Jotform plans to support? Having my email as a sender will be critical. Thank you!

    Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your patience. We have an update from our development team. They advised that we are already using Oauth for our Google Workspace integrations. This means that you won't be affected by this change from Google.

Reach out again if you have any questions.

Can you direct me where to find information on how to integrate using OAuth method? I can only find the "app passwords" method in the documentation which will be sunset by google.

    Hi Kyle,

Thanks for getting back to us. The existing method of using Gmail as your SMTP should continue to work. This method requires that you have two-step verification turned on. However, I will double check with our development team. Once there's an update, we'll let you know right away on this thread.

Reach out again if you have any questions.
