Dynamic Textbox: How to add semi-colon as a delimiter

    Hi!

I have a dynamic textbox to capture an unknown number of emails. I need to pass them all to Stripe checkout who handles the payment in the form. Stripe checkout requires a textbox. I need to basically build in that textbox a string with each email separated by a semicolon (for further processing in Zapier).

I can't seem to do that, is there a way?

    Here's a visual of what I need...

    Hi Antoine,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m sorry that this is happening. I understand you're aiming to configure the Dynamic textbox to use a semicolon as a delimiter. You can achieve this by establishing a condition within your form setup. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder page, select Settings located at the top orange menu bar.
    2. Navigate to the left, Select Add Condition.Dynamic Textbox: How to add semi colon as a delimiter Image 1 Screenshot 30
    3. Now, Select Update/Calculated Field.
    4. Let's proceed by applying the Conditions illustrated below.
    5. Lastly, Click on Save. Dynamic Textbox: How to add semi colon as a delimiter Image 2 Screenshot 41

Feel free to clone my test form.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Antoine,

Thanks for patiently waiting. I've checked other expandable list widgets we have, and unfortunately, there's no other way of combining the emails and separating them using a semicolon. It is possible with a lot of conditions and extra fields. But this wouldn't be unlimited anymore. If you're okay with having a limit and adding enough fields for that limit, you can check out this demo form with the correct result.

Feel free to clone that demo form so you can further test it. We have a guide here explaining how to clone an existing form from a URL.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
