We use this form to calculate quote for our clients
But we want to go back to the submission to update the entries in order to adjust the quote
The calculations don't work in the 'edit submission mode'

Hi Solusign,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. In Edit mode, values are not cleared. This behavior is intended in order not to lose any value.
If you want to trigger the condition again, please clear the value of the target field.
Let us know if you have any questions.

I don't understand what you mean by clear values of intended fields, how does this apply to our use case?

Hi Solusign,
Thanks for getting back to us. As what my colleague mentioned above, It is the expected behavior when editing the submission entry. You will need to clear the existing value of the target field in order to trigger the calculation and update the total. For the Total Number of Fields, the target field is the Multiplier field. Check out the screencast below to see my results:
Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Hi Sofian,
Thanks for getting back to us. Some automation, including Calculations with Conditional Logic, will not work in Edit mode to ensure that as the form owner, you'll be free to make changes to a submission as needed. In my example form below, I havee a condition that adds "20" when the Yes option is selected.
When editing the submission, selecting No, will not automatically clear the field like so:
A workaround to this is to create another condition that makes your desired calculation when the related option is selected. In my case, it would be the condition below:
Now, when I edit the form and make changes to them, the desired result will come up according to the condition created.
Feel free to clone and test this form on your end.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
