How to enable/disable a form on a specific date

We would like a way to disable a form on a specific date and time and then enable the form at a particular date (and time isn't required but could be used) and do this automatically multiple times a year, maybe 10 times a year. We have a registration from that is used for events and the day before the event @ 5 pm we would like to disable the form, so we don't get any more entries and then enable the form after the event is over. And we have 9 - 10 events a year. The dates and maybe the times would change each year. Once set they probably would not change. Currently it is handled by our website logic but if someone has the direct link or if you search the Internet, you can find the link and if that is used, which bypasses our website logic, they can register online. It would be nice to have an option at the disabled form logic where you could be in a bunch of dates and times the form would be disabled and it would be enabled the rest of the time. Similarly, the way you do dropdown selections for entries in the form but his would be used for the disable / enable form logic.

Thanks for contacting Jotform support. Although that feature to automatically enable your form on a specific date isn’t available yet, as a workaround, we can disable it on a specific date and then manually enable it on your preferred date. Let’s do it:

• In the Form Builder, go to the Settings tab.
• Under the Form Settings, click the Form Status option.
• Click the Enabled option under Form Status.

• From the dropdown options, select Disable on Specific Date.
• Then, Set your Warning Message.
• Click Save. That's it!

Your form will be disabled on the date you selected. You can turn it back on whenever you like by changing the form status to Enabled. Also, you may check our guide about How to Enable or Disable a Form.
