Jotform UPDATE/CALCULATE FIELD

    I would like to ask why is that the third field has data of numbers and it should be the data of the first and the 2nd field I used UPDATE/CALCULATE FIELD conditional logic to make it happen and it should be the first and the 2nd field will be combined in the third field but the value display is number.

    it should be the test 1 field and test 2 field will combine in test 3 fields but as you can see the value of the test 3 field is number 0

    Hi Keith,

    Thanks for contacting Jotform Support. I checked your form, but you've deleted those fields. I could understand what you're referring to. You want to show the text filled in the first two fields into the third field as text, but you're seeing a value 0. Here is what you need to do:

    1. Go to the Settings > Conditions page
    2. Click Add a condition
    3. Click Update/Calculate condition
    4. Add the condition as shown in the video below:

    Here is a guide that shows how to use conditions to pass on text into another field. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
