How to send Image Upload as email attachment

    Hello,

    My form allows respondents to upload a camera image and I want that image to be an attachment on the Notification email. I have the "Send File Uploads as Attachment" option turned on but that has not been working. The images are not coming as attachments on the email.


    Any advise?

    Hi CathyNickelson,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Please note that if the uploaded file size is more than 5MB, you will receive a download link instead. Could you please confirm if the files are not more than 5MB in size?     If the issue still persists, please try deleting and re adding the notification email. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    3. On the right side of the Notification field, click on the Trash Can icon, and delete the existing Notification Email.

    Now that we've removed the old Notification Email, we'll just add a new one. Let's do it: 

    While you're still under the Emails tab on the left side of the page in Form Builder, click on Add Email.

    Next, select Notification Email.

    Click on the Recipients tab and enter your email address in the Recipient Email field. Then, click on Save.

    However, if you're referring to attaching files more than 5MB please consider sending the emails through your own server by setting up SMTP.
