I am having issues submitting more information on my form using the edit link in an email. I am getting a submission ID error.
Below is the flow of the form:
- Customer inputs information on pages 1-4 and submits form on page 5
- Our team receives an email with edit link to take them to page 7, uploads an invoice and then submits
The edit link I am using on this email to our team is https://www.jotform.com/edit/{id}&jumpToPage=7.
I am getting error when our team submits the second time - see screenshot. I have also highlighted the email that has the link below.
Thank you,

Hi NC_Administration,
Thanks for your patience, we appreciate it. I understand a customer fills pages 1 to 4 of your form and submits it on page 5. If this submission is approved, your team will receive an email with an edit link. This edit link takes them to page 7 of this form where they can upload an invoice and submit it. Right now, you're saying your team is getting an error when they try to submit on page 7 of your form. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that the URL in the edit link had the wrong symbol. It should be a question mark (?) instead of an ampersand (&). Let me show you how to fix it:
- In Form Builder, click Form Builder near the top-left corner. Then click Approvals.
- Find and hover over Invoice Upload - to NCC, and click on the Closed Envelope icon.
- Highlight UPLOAD INVOICE AND SEND FOR PAYMENT, and click on the Paper Clip icon.
- Replace the ampersand (&) with a question mark (?). Then click Save.
After completing the above steps, here's the result:

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.
