    Hi Jotform Team,

I hope you're doing well. I'm reaching out to ask if Jotform can support a specific function in our mobile app.

We're having an app where users will register and pay using JotForm. Our goal is to:

    1. Pass user info (like name, email) from our app to JotForm.
    2. Use Jotform to handle registration and payment through Stripe.

Could you confirm if Jotform can do this? And if so, could you point us in the right direction?

    Thanks for your help!

    Best,

    Enci

    Hi Enci,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It is not possible to send information from your app to Jofform. You can create a form with Jotform and embed it in your app. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder, go to Publish at the top.
    • Go to Embed on the left, then select iFrame.

    • Use the provided iframe code to embed your form into your website.

Pass information from My App to Jotform Image 2 Screenshot 41We also have a guide about Which Form Embed Code Should I Use that you can check out.

As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi Marehlene,
    Thanks for your reply.
If I embed my form in my app, can I somehow pass some data to jotform for
further use (maybe by url parameter or something) ? If that's possible, can
Jotform store this data and send it to Stripe along with other data we
    retrieve from the form itself?
    Best Regard,
    Enci

    HI Enci,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, it isn't currently possible to pass data from your app to a form even if the form is embedded on your app. The URL parameter feature only works within Jotform itself. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
