How to send an email to the email address indicated on the form?

We have a form that is currently just a Word doc that we'd like to convert to a Jotform. However, this form does not always go to the same person. (Traditionally a form submitter has filled out the Word form and, based on the contact person listed on the specific job posting they are applying to, they send the Word form as an attachment in an email to that specific person.)

So, my question is can either of these things happen via Jotform:

    - can a form submitter fill in an email address that they want the form to get submitted to, so that when they click the submit button the form goes to that specific email address?

    if the above can't work

    - can a form get submitted to the submitter, so that they could then send it, via email, to the specific person they need to?

    Thank you!

    Hi Carrie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you set up an Autoresponder Email, the email address indicated on the form will receive the autoresponder email template. The email template can include your message, or a link to your form. Let me show you how to set that up:

    1. IForm Builder, click on the Add element button on the left and select the Email field.

    2. Next, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    3. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
    4. Now, click on Add an Email.
    5. Then, select Autoresponder Email.
    6. Customize the options the way you want them, and you’re done. How to send an email to the email address indicated on the form? Image 2 Screenshot 41
