Hello! I would like to set something up where there is a "chain" like event that would take place. An example is an audit that needs to be completed by serval different parties. So 1 party starts it and completes their step, then the next part is sent to the next party, then when they complete it, the final part is sent to the next party etc.
It would also work if 1 party starts it and then all the forms simultaneously go out to the other parties to complete.
Is this something we could easily create and implement?
We currently have a client audit that 1 person completes for multiple parties but it is difficult to do.

Hi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want to have multiple people complete the form, you can use Jotform Sign for this. It will also let you manage the form fillers in order if you want. So in your case, person A fills up first. After they're done, it will automatically be sent to person B. As you can see in the screencast below, it is color-coded so it's easy to track who's assigned to a specific field.
If you think this works for you, then let me show you how to do it:
1. On the My Forms page, click on Create Form.
2. On the next window, click on Create Signable Document.
3. On the next window, it will then make you choose if you want to use your own Document or you want to use a template. For this example, I will choose Upload Document.
4. You can then upload your own document. To make it simple, I will choose Try Demo Document.
5. You will then be redirected to the document and click on Detect fields. This will auto-detect and add the necessary fields for input.
6. As I've mentioned before, you can easily change the signer as shown in my screencast below:
7. To edit the signer label, you can do so by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the name. To add a new one, click on the Add new role button. See my screencast below:
8. When you're satisfied with the setting up of signers, on the green navigation bar at the top, click on Send.
9. Fill in the name and email addresses of the signers.
10. If you want the signers to sign in order, for example, you want Signer 1 to sign first, just toggle on the Signing order on the upper right side of the list of signers. You can then rearrange the list of who should sign first by dragging the row up or down.
11. Click on Send To Sign once, you're done.
After sending, you can then track the progress of the document.
When everyone is done signing, you can also download the document.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
