How to create a table for my clients to log data?

    Hi,
I have a Bronze membership, I am operating a Nutrition Coaching business. I previously had clients filling a Google sheet with data such as food logging which required some written data, as well as more simple figures such as weight and waist measurements, however the feedback I had is that a lot of clients prefer to use their phones and aren't regularly on their computers and found the Google Drive spreadsheet not user friendly and clunky. I am wondering if there is a table or something simple I could set up within Jotform for them to submit data that would be phone friendly?

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi Jacinta,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's possible to collect this type of data using the Input Table element or the Configurable List widget. Let me show you how to add that to your form:

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element button on the left.
    2. Next, click on the Input Table field to add it to your form.
    3. The Input Type of the table can be changed by clicking on its Gear icon, and selecting the Input Type under the Fields tab.

As for adding the Configurable List widget, we can do that under the Widgets tab in the Form Elements menu.

    1. In Form Builder, click on the Add Element button on the left.
    2. Next, under the Widgets tab, select the Configurable List.

We also have guides on How to Set Up the Configurable List Widget and How to Set Different Input Types in an Input Table that you can check out. If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Reach out again if you need any help.
