Hi SI_Tech,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want to include any comments when the submission is approved or denied in the approval email, you have to add the Comment placeholder in your Autoresponder emails inside the Approval Flow. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, Navigate to Settings tab from the top orange navigation bar.
- Select Approval Flows from the left side menu.
- Hover to the existing Approval Flow and click on the Pencil Icon to Edit. You should be redirected to the Approval Flow chart.
- Edit the Autoresponder Email for Approve, by hovering and clicking the Envelope icon (Settings).
An Email Properties window should appear. Select an area where you want to add the comment and follow the steps below to add the Comment in the Autoresponder Email:
- This is optional but add a text that will help us identify that it is a comment attached when the submission is approved/denied. In the screencast below, I added Comments: as label.
- Click the +Approval Fields button and add select Approval Comment.
- Finally, Click Save to save your changes.
Now, you can repeat the steps for the Deny autoresponder email.
