Need the data to be organized in the excel integration.

    Hi !

I integrated my form to Excel online using power automate.

Most of the data integrates fine, but when it comes to more complicated questions, like a matrix, the data imported automatically in excel is ugly. The data is full of <il> <ul> and basically html lines.

I would like my excel to receive clean data automatically.

Is there a way to do that ?

    thank you !

    Hi FACoop,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you take a screenshot of what's happening and share it with our Support Forum so that I can have a better idea of what's going on and help you with this? This guide will show you how to do that. Also, share the form URL so we can investigate the integration as well.

After we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with this

Here is the data i received in Excel after completion of the matrix from my form "Les Écolabs - Demande d'intérêt". It is integrated with PowerAutomate with an automation that adds a line to my Excel everytime a form is sent.

The data is unreadable, so I would like to figure out a way to get cleaner data from Jotform.

    Thank you,

    Hi FACoop,

Thanks for getting back to us. I have reviewed the form that you have provided, and I was unable to find any form element with the field label Écolabs principaux as shown in your screenshot. Is the concerned field the Input Table as shown in the screenshot?

You have mentioned that the Excel file is created via PowerAutomate. Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the output since the information is translated on the PowerAutomate side. I would suggest using the Spreadsheet integration instead since the output would be readable as shown in the screenshot.

    Here's how to do it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Settings.

    2. Click on Integrations on the left side of the screen.

    3. Select the Google Sheets Integration.

    4. Select a Google account or connect a new Google account.

    5. Select your preferred option under Choose an option.

    6. Configure the integration and click on Save.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hello,

I understand your response. But, it is problematic for us because we do not use google sheets.

I understand that the data goes through Powerautomate, but I have tested with other forms platform, and I do not run into the same problem. It really does seem that the issue comes from the data sent by Jotform.

I have tested with an input table on another forms platform with integration with powerautomate and I am able to choose where to send the data of each individual line of the table. So for example, I can send the answer to line 1 of my table to A1, line 2 to A2, etc.

Thereform i do not think that the issue is with powerautomate, but with the data sent by Jotform from input tables.

With Jotform the "Input table" sends the HTML code of the table instead of the individual answers of the table. Can you fix that ? Or can I fix it ?
