Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way to send an approval notification to the sender once the form has been approved?
Thanks!

Hello Brintnell,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Yes, once you create an Approval Flow, it will automatically create a notification email to be sent to the form responders whether the approval is approved or denied. Let me walk you through it:
- In the Form Builder, click on Settings in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
- Select Approval Flows.
- Click Create an Approval Flow.
- Now click the Email Envelop of the Approve and Deny action to see the email body of the email to be sent to the form respondents.
If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more, so I can help you better?
In the meantime, let us know if you need any other help.

Hi,
Yes this is what I was hoping to do but when I approve it, it does not seem to send the email response. I have tried various emails but none of them seem to go through. Is there another step that I am missing?
Thanks,
Jen

Hi Jen,
Thanks for getting back to us. I’m sorry that this is happening. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that the approval workflow wasn't configured correctly. Let me show you how to fix it:
- In Approval page, select Build located at the top green menu bar.
- Delete the End Element and Email element.
- Under the Approve flow, connect the Email element to End.
Take a look at the screenshot below to see my results: Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
