I have a form that uses a full name widget.

I would like to have my files named

LastName- FirstName - (Title) Doe- John - 2024 Room RSVP

I attempted the following tutorial with no success. I only get _1 and _2 for options.

    Hi TRIO_Programs,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, and I ran into the same issue. When I looked at your form, I saw that the substring widget wasn't configured correctly. Let me show you how to fix it:

    1. In your Form Builder, select your first Substring Widget and click on the Wand Icon.
    2. Remove the extra braces in the Source field ID, and click on Update Widget. Change the PDF File name based on substring Image 1 Screenshot 40

Next, we need to rename your PDF file:

    1. In your PDF Editor, click on the Paint Roller Icon located on the right side of your page.
    2. Click on the Pencil Icon beside the PDF File Name.
    3. Click the + Form Fields and select the _1 , _2, and Form Title in the dropdown.
    4. Hit on Apply Changes to update changes in the PDF File name. Change the PDF File name based on substring Image 2 Screenshot 51

That's it! Test your form, and you should receive a correct PDF File name as an attachment. Check out my screencast below for the result:
