Hello - we have an existing integration to Salesforce with one of our forms. However, it appears the integration has stopped working because new contacts aren't being created in Salesforce. I recently had to update the Salesforce password, so I suspect this is what broke my integration.
However, when I go to the integration there doesn't appear to be a way to update the Salesforce password without deleting/recreating the integration. I saw the help article linked below, but my integration doesn't show an Authenticate button as shown in the screenshot. All I have are an Edit Integration and Remove Integration buttons.
How do I go about updating the password used for the integration?
Thanks
Julianna

Hi generationserve,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It seems you're referring to the old version of the Salesforce integration. Once the integration is broken, you would need to remove and reconnect the Salesforce integration to complete the integration with the updated password. You can also consider removing the expiration or your Salesforce password to avoid the integration from breaking due to changing the Salesforce password.
You can also consider using Salesforce AppExchange. If you install Jotform’s app on your Salesforce account, you’ll have a Salesforce button right there on your forms, so now you can automate the creation of records in Salesforce. Keep on reading to learn how to install Jotform on Salesforce AppExchange.
- Log into your Salesforce account and click on the 9 Dots Icon on the left side of your homepage to open the App Launcher.
2. Search for Jotform and click on it.
3. To assign the Jotform App User permission to relevant users, go to the Setup tab. Note
that you need to be the system administrator to change the permission settings.
4. After that, go to the Administration section on the left side of the page.
5. Under the User dropdown list, select Permission Sets.
6. Click on Jotform App User permission, then click on the Manage Assignments button.
7. On the Current Assignments page, click on the Add Assignment button, and select users
to assign the permissions.
8. Under the Setup tab, you can either log into your existing Jotform account or create one for
free. If you’re new to Jotform, check out our subscription options.
9. Once you log in or create your account, you’ll be asked to allow Salesforce to access your
Jotform account. Click on Allow, and your setup will be complete!
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
