    Hi,

Can i check, is there a way whereby if I select" I do not have any challenge" option, it will either
    (1) Disable the rest of the other options in the field
    (2) Clicking on other options will appear a alert stating: You have already stated you have no challenges.

    Hi DIUX,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. Unfortunetly, it is not possible to disable other options in the field if one of them is selected. However, you can set up a condition to disable the entire field, with this option, they won't be able to change the preferred choice. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Setting in the orange bar at top of the screen.
    2. Select Conditions from left panel.
    3. Click on Add new condition and select Enable/Mask/Require Field.
    4. Set up the condition as per my example in Screencast below:

Once you have done that, you can add the Paragraph Field with the message and show it conditionally using the Show/Hide Fields conditions.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi,

I've tried it out but i am unable to uncheck the option < I did not face any challenge > and select other options the moment I checked the option < I did not face any challenge >

    Hi DIUX,

Thanks for getting back to us. That is due to the condition suggested by my colleague above. It disabled the field after the user selected the specific option. Once the user selects the 'I do not have any challenge' option the field will be disabled and you can tick the other boxes nor untick the checkbox next to the 'I do not have any challenge' option. However, if that's not what you want to happen, can you please explain the use case a little bit more so that we can assist you better and respond accordingly?

As soon as we hear back from you, we can move forward with a solution.

    Hi,

the interaction i would want can be any of the following

    • User checked any of the options from option 2 onwards -> once user click the first option -> all the other options that were previously checked will be now unchecked, leaving only the first option unchecked
    • Vis versa, if option 2 onwards is then checked again, option 1 will automatically be unchecked

    Hi Diux,

Thanks for your feedback. I’ll need a bit of time to look into this. I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

    Hi Diux,

Thanks for patiently waiting, I appreciate it. After checking, I can confirm that it isn't possible to check or uncheck the checkbox based on conditions. Currently, you can only disable the multiple choice field element based on condition as discussed by my colleague above.

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
