How To Manage Columns in Jotform Tables

How do I change the order of the spreadsheet layout to match the order of the form?

I recently had 10 or so submissions in my spreadsheet (Inspector), the field was a short text field. I deleted the field and added the same field name but as a dropdown with names in the pick list. Now the "Inspector" field is at the end of the spreadsheet while the actual field is in the #4 position on the form.

    Hello Linda,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support and we’re sorry you’re having trouble with this. When you said you want to match the layout of your spreadsheet to the order of the form, are you referring to managing the columns in your Jotform Tables? If you want to re-arrange the columns in your Jotform Tables, you can simply drag and drop them to your desired position. Let me show you how it's done:

Aside from dragging each column to its desired position, there's another way to manage your columns. Let me show you it's done:

    1. On the right side of the tab name, click on the Three Dots icon.

    2. Click the Gear icon labeled Manage Columns.

    3. From there, you may move the columns up and down or remove them by clicking the x icon. Then, you can add the form fields back by clicking the fields from the left side of the window to add them back.

If you were unable to reposition it, could you try resetting your table columns to their default position and see how it goes?

    1. On the right side of the tab name, click on the Three Dots icon.

    2. Click the Reset columns to default.
