    Good morning Jotform,

Is there a way to hide the fields within a form if a dropdown has nothing selected within the field itself?

    Kind regards,

    Chad Gallant

    Hi Chad,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Yes, it's possible to keep a certain field hidden if a Dropdown field is empty or the user did not select any answer. Let me walk you through it:

    • In this demo, I will add a Dropdown field and a Short Text field for the target field that we will hide or show based on the answer in the dropdown.

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
    2. Click on Conditions on the left side of the page.
    3. Select Show/Hide Field.
