How to create mailable PDF and attach it to the email?

I am working on TUERK 2024 Evaluation Form. They now want what I put into the body of an email as a pdf attachment

How do I do that?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. Unfortunetly, it is not possible to directly add the body of the email to PDF. However, you can create a PDF in the PDF editor and attach that to the email. Let me show you how:

1. In Form Builder, click on the little down arrow next to the Jotform logo. 2. Select PDF Editor in the dropdown arrow. 3. In the PDF editor you can edit the existing PDF or create a new one by clicking on New PDF. Once we you created the PDF, let me show you how to attach it to the email. Let me walk you through it:

1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar, click on the Settings tab in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Emails.
3. Hover your mouse over the Notification Email element and click on the Pencil icon.
4. Under the Advanced tab, toggle Attach PDF to the On position, and select the PDF file you created.
5. Now, scroll down, click on Save, and you're done.

I'm having trouble with # 1 -- creating the pdf.

I've got the form built --- but can't import my certificate template

So i have 270 submissions already and they want a pdf attachment is it possible to do this once data is already received. I'm expecting about 1000 more submissions

Thanks for getting back to us. I am sorry you are having issue with this. Is it possible for you to provide us with the blank copy of the Certificate you are referring to so we can test it. You can share it to us by uploading to Google Drive or any other file-sharing platform and sharing the public link with us. This would help us upload it to the PDF editor to test it.

Once we hear back from you we can move forward with a solution.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate that. To use your certificate you will need to apply it as the background of the PDF and then add the name field over it. To do this you will need to have the certificate in image file instead of PDF. Let me show you how to set this up.

1. In PDF Editor, open the New PDF document.
2. Click on the Paint Roller Icon to open the PDF settings.
3. Select Landscape as the layout.

4. Click on Choose File for Background and click on Upload.
5. Select the file from your device.

6. Now click on the Add Element icon on the left.
7. Use the Empty Space element to move the name field below the date.
8. From the Form Field, add the Name Field on the PDF.
9. Remove the title name so it only shows the response.
10. Resize the name field and place under the date.

Thats it, now you can attach this to the Notification Email. Also, the previous submissions' names will appear on the certificates.
