Square Integration Keeps Disconnecting

    My square integrations keep disconnecting and will not reconnect. I reconnect them but then I get emails telling me that applicants get error messages stating they are not able to make payment.


    This is also happening with my Google sheets integrations. Submissions go throug jotform but do not show on the google integration. I need to reconnect the whole sheet which causes me to loose other information on the sheet that is lost in the reconnect. VERY PROBLEMATIC AND INCONVENIENT. I'm not happy with jotform at all.

    Hello Amy,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form and I can confirm that the payment integration is configured correctly. To refresh the payment integration's connection, can you please try switching to Purchase Order and then switch back to Square? Here's how:

    1. Open your form in Form Builder and click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    2. Under the Payment tab, click on the Three Dots icon next to the Payment method you used and click on Switch to Another Gateway
    3. Choose a payment method (Purchase Order) and click on Use Selection. Square Integration Keeps Disconnecting Image 1 Screenshot 20
    4. Now, repeat the same steps to switch to Square and connect your account.

    If the issue persists, can you please describe the error showing on the user's end? As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

    I've done these steps several times on each of several forms and it says it's connected then I get messages from applicants stating that there is still an error and to contact the admin of the form.

    Thanks for reaching back to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having issues with your form. After checking, the form is still connected to Square. I'm afraid we don't have a way to test the form since it needs live payment. It would help us to understand what’s the error if you could take a screenshot and send it to us. We have a guide here explaining how to do that.

    Thats the problem, its says it's connected but the applicants are getting this message.

    Also, regarding the preious reccomendation:

    The swaure integration is connected and is the account payments are required to go into. By attempting to switch the gateway, square is not able to be used so this is not a solution.
