Hi, would it be possible to give 0 points if the user doesn't select all the possible choices?
Please check this form.
We tried doing it by setting conditions but as a result, the check boxes couldn't be clicked. Thank you.Page URL: https://form.jotform.com/241278373055458 -

Hi Yoonet,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your form, and it appears that your first two questions are set to values of 0.33, which will not make your result zero. And, yes, if someone submits an exam with zero-valued fields, the results will be zero.
Check out this guide on How to Assign Calculation Values
Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

Hi Waqas, thanks for the quick reply.
For our first two questions, and the other questions with multiple answers possible, we set the calculation values to 0.33, our logic behind that is if the user selects all the three correct options (he will get 1 point).
Also, even though the calculation value is set to "0.33" will it be possible to calculate it as 0 if the user doesn't select all the correct answers? (We tried doing it by setting conditions but as a result, the check boxes couldn't be clicked) - I will re-enable this condition on Question #1 so you would see it. Thank you. -

Hi Yoonet,
Thanks for getting back to us. We can achieve your goal by adding a Number field which will be the point basis of a multiple choice field. We can set a default value of 0 to it and it will only change to the value of 1 if the 3 correct answers are selected. Let me walk you through:
- As mentioned above, the first step is to add a Number element below the Multiple Choice field. You can hide it.
- Set the default value to 0.
- Using the example calculation condition below, you can change the default value of the Number field from 0 to 1 if all answers are selected:
You can repeat the steps for each multiple choice field and use the Number field value in the calculation widget (Result) below your form.
Here's the output:
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
