How to restrict multiple submissions?

Hello:
One of our forms has been hacked and we've received over a thousand submissions. I have temporarily disabled the form.

How can we resolve this issue? We do not want to delete the form or the data.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I'm sorry you're having difficulties with this. You can restrict one submission to an IP address or cookies. Let me show you how:

1. On your My Forms page, hover your mouse over your form and click on Edit Form on the right side of the screen.
2. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings and then click on Show More Options.
3. In the Form Settings menu, scroll down and select Check Cookies and IP address in the Unique Submission dropdown menu.

Now, only one submission is allowed on your form at the same IP address. Check out this guide on How to Set Unique Submissions on a Form.
