How to use two different authorization.net accounts on two different forms

I have a question regarding the use of enabling payment authorization, where we can collect payment information for future use.

Our company utilizes authorize.net. The tricky thing is that we have to have TWO separate authorize.net accounts; one to collect monthly dues and process transactions and a separate authorize.net account to collect monthly charitable contributions to the foundation. This is because there are two tax id numbers involved.

When people need/want to update their payment information with us, they want us to apply it to both the dues/transaction payment system AND the charitable system.

Is there a way to use one form and ideally one link where people can put their payment information in once but which sends it to both authorize.net accounts OR are we going to have to have two separate links/forms that sends the payment informtion to separate authorize.net accounts.

    Hi TheStakeClub,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you're looking to have just one link where users can input their payment information and have it sent to two separate Authorize.net accounts. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for is not possible at the moment.

Keep in mind that only one payment gateway is allowed to be added to a form. However, there's a workaround for you to add multiple payment gateways on your form. To do that, create a separate form for each payment gateway and then embed them on the main form using the iFrame embed widget. Here's a detailed guide on how to do that.

That's it! Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Carlo,

Thank you for the information. So I created a form which will send payment information to the 'Dues' authorize.net account for future billing. It works great.

Next, I created a completely different form to send 'charitable' cc information to a different authorize.net account than above but it wouldn't let me input a different authorize.net API Login ID or Transaction Key. Is this what I'm going to need to use the iFrame.embed or is there a limitation on our account that only allows us to use one authorize.net account?

I look forward to hearing from you!

    Hi TheStakeClub,

Thanks for getting back to us. If you use a separate or different form, you should be able to integrate it with another Authorize.net payment account with no issue. Are you getting any errors when entering your Authorize.net details into your charitable form? Can you send us some screenshots of what’s happening? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

Yes, when I create the charitable form, it will only allow me to input the API Login ID and Transaction Key from the authorize.net account associated with our dues account.

When I try deleting and adding the charitable API Login/Transaction Key it automatically reverts back to the other authorize.com API/Transaction Key even before I can push save. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

It finally allowed me to save the charitable api/transaction key information to the charitable form but when tried using it (doing a test) it didn't work to send the cc information to that authorize.net account to be used later for future billing. I'm so confused.

    Hi TheStakeClub,

There shouldn't be a conflict in using another Authorize.net account in another form. Can you try to login in another web browser and re-enter your authorize.net credentials? Let me show you how:

    1. In Form builder, click on payment field and click on wand icon.

    2. In Authorize.net Integration, click on pencil icon and update it.

    3. Then, click on Save.

Give it a try and let us know if this works for you.
