Is it possible to hide or delete PDF signed document?

Hello,

I would like to know if its possible to create multiple users on our plan.

Otherwise, is it possible to create a pdf document to be signed and delete it afterward, in a way to hide it from other users, ir would it would lose its validity?

I believe it would also work, as both parties would receive the signed document via email, is it correct?

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform support. As I checked your account, you are currently on our Silver plan, which allows only one user. If you would like multiple users, you would need to upgrade to Jotform Enterprise. If you are interested in the Jotform Enterprise plan, you can contact our Enterprise sales team here.

Unfortunately, you cannot disable or hide the PDF document when Jotform Sign is enabled because it is a legally binding signature, just like when you delete it. It also confirms that the user agrees to the document they are signing and that the signature is valid.

I understood that the signed document would still be valid even if I delete it on Jotform platform, correct?

When both parties receive the signed document via email we can download it and delete on Jotform, right?

Thanks for getting back to us. It will technically be valid even if it is deleted in Jotform since you are going to download it as a PDF before deletion. But once you completely delete it in Jotform, you will not be able to restore it so you will have to keep the downloaded, signed PDF files.

If you are using Sign Builder, you will not be able to delete the submission data one by one, you will need to delete the whole signed document in order to delete the submissions.

In addition, if you would like to keep the PDF and just delete the submission, I would recommend using the Smart PDF Form feature and then enabling Jotform Sign Automation.

1. In form builder for the Smart PDF form, click on Settings.

2. Click on Jotform Sign on the left side panel.

3. Then click on the button to toggle on Jotform Sign Automation.
