Why am i now mandated to have HIPPA

    My forms that i have used for one year is now mandating me to upgrade for 756 a year to be HIPA compliant. Why is this?

    Hi Tara,

    Thanks for reaching out to JotForm Support. I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Our system automatically scans forms that may be potentially collecting PHI (protected health information). Once the system marks a form that may be potentially collecting PHI, we will email the form owner. At the same time, we will also show a popup within your Jotform account explaining this, and it will ask if you're a HIPAA-covered entity. If you're not a HIPAA-covered entity, you can select no in the dialogue box and it should no longer prompt on your account. If, however, you're a HIPAA-covered entity, you need to upgrade to Gold plan to enable HIPAA Compliance.
