Account: Upload space limit is not updating even after deleting submissions.

    Despite clearing my form cache and deleting my form submissions, my upload limit is still nearly maxed out. Why is this?

    Hi transquility,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having trouble with this. I recalculated your upload space limit, which updated the upload space limit's count. You should see it updated on your end as well.

    How can I ensure that this will automatically recalculate? Will I need to contact support whenever my upload limit seems to max out?

    Hi transquility,

    Thanks for getting back to us. After you delete your submissions from the Submission Table, and the Trash Entries, you can Clear Your Form's Cache to refresh the usage limits. Let me show you how:

    • On your My Forms page, hover your mouse on your Profile Avatar icon.
    • In the window that opens, click on Settings.

    • In the Settings menu, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Clear Cache. That's it, you're done.

    Hi transquility,

    You can delete the attached files on your submissions to decrease your upload space limit while waiting for your monthly limits to reset. But before you do so, we highly suggest you download the attachments first before deleting them, as they can no longer be restored once purged.


    • Let me show you how to download the attachments.

      1. On your MY FORMS PAGE, select the form by clicking the tick box and click Submissions on the upper part.

    • Select the form you want to download the attachments.
    • Then select Download Attachments.
    • Once it is ready, you'll receive an email with the download button.

    • Next part is, how to delete the files.

    • On the Jotform tables, click directly on the files.
    • Select the attachments you want to delete and click on the Delete button.
    • To purge them, click the three vertical dots and select Trashed Entries.
    • Select All, then Delete Forever. Choose YES, Delete to confirm.
