Approval flows not attaching PDF

    Hi,

    In my approval flows, the PDF is not being attached to the email being sent. Please help.

    Hi infoterravale,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked the email logs and saw that the PDF and uploaded files are not because the total exceeds the 5MB limit as shown below:

    Approval flows not attaching PDF Image 1 Screenshot 40We have a 5MB limit for file attachments to increase email reliability. If the PDF document is more important than the uploaded files, you can disable Send File Uploads as Attachments in the email settings. Let me show you how:

    1. On the Approval Workflow, click on the email element and click on the mail icon.Approval flows not attaching PDF Image 2 Screenshot 51
    2. On the right side, click on the Advanced.
    3. Turn off Send File Upload as Attachments.

    If you still want to attach both the uploaded files and the original PDF, you can set your sender email via SMTP. Some email providers have higher attachment limits. This is something you can consider. We also have this guide on how to set up SMTP in your form.
