Dropbox integration is not working on a specific form

    Our dropbox integration has stopped working. I've tried setting up the integration again, but it's still not working. Can you help?

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I’m really sorry that this is happening. I'll do my best to help you. Can you please share with us the form URL in question? Can you also let us know any errors you are getting when you are integrating? Can you try again after clearing your Google Chrome's caches then log into your Jotform account and then re-integrate with Dropbox? Here is a guide on how to integrate Jotform with Dropbox; that you should review it.

    I've tried to set it up again and again. It appears to work, the subfolder generation works, but the actual upload of the document fails. See attached error message.

    I just cleared my cache and tried it again and it's still the same. Subfolder created but no document in the folder

    Thanks for getting back to us. I cloned your form and tested it to see if I could replicate the issue, but everything was working properly. Check out the screenshots below to see my results:

    I cleared your form's cache on our backend system for additional precautions. You can also clear the cache of your forms by following the guide on How to Clear Your Form Cache

    Could you please try deleting the action again and then reintegrate Dropbox? This should help resolve the issue. Also, try to use a different device or browser. Let me show you how to delete action:

    • In the Form Builder, click on Settings at the top.
    • Click on Integrations on the left, and select Dropbox.
    • Click on the three-dot icon, and select Delete Action. You can now add a new action and configure it as needed.   Dropbox integration is not working on a specific form Image 3 Screenshot 62

    I cleared my browser cache and I cleared the form cache. I deleted the action and set up the integration again, and it's still not working. Dropbox integration is not working on a specific form Image 1 Screenshot 20

    Thanks for waiting. I was able to replicate the issue on a cloned form but I could not identify what's causing it. Let me escalate this issue to the developers and get back to you once we have updates.

    Hi Katie,

    Thanks for patiently waiting. After investigating the issue, we saw that it was due to your PDF Editor version. The PDF Editor version you're using is deprecated, but you can easily convert it to the current version. Let me show you how:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Dropdown arrow next to the Jotform logo on the top right side of the page, then select PDF Editor.

    • Add "?from=oldEditor" to the end of the page URL. URL needs to show up like this:

    https://jotform.com/pdf-editor/{formID}?from=oldEditor

    Using this URL will enable the new PDF Editor version for your form. After you have activated the New PDF Editor version, you can go to Form Builder > Integrations > Dropbox and select the PDF created with new PDF Editor version.

    Please note that you need to use "?from=oldEditor" for the new forms you created as well.
