Hi Jayasree,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand you want to label the name of the uploaded file. Could you clarify if you want the file name to follow a specific format, or are you referring to something else?
Currently, there is no option to change the file name. It uses the original name given by the user who uploads it.
If your goal is to track files more effectively, consider integrating your form with Google Drive or Dropbox. This allows each uploaded file to be sent to your Google Drive or Dropbox and organized into separate folders for each submission. You can name the folders using form fields, like the submitter's name.
It's easy to integrate your form with Google Drive or Dropbox. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, click Settings at the top.
- Click Integrations on the left.
- Click Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Authenticate your Google or Dropbox account. Select the file upload fields and enable the setting to separate each submission into separate folders.
- Click Save.
For more information, check out our guides on How to Integrate Your Form With Google Drive and How to Integrate Forms With Dropbox.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
