How to validate fields and show error messages that are listed and can be edited in the "Form Warnings" section under settings.

for example validate the correctness structure of email address

As for validating fields, each form field and widget added to the form has its own settings and properties which determine what errors the widget will show.

These cannot be edited directly.

How come regular email field doesnt have validation?

Our apologies for the confusion. Email form field checks user's input and will not allow other than email format: example@test.com 

Also, you can enable validation for other form fields:
