I would like to Show/Hide fields based on the time of the day. Specifically, from 12:00 am to 8:59 am, I want a text field to show and explain that the form is only available between 9:00 am and 12:00 am. Then at 9:00 am, I want to hide that field and show the rest of the form fields including the submit. Then at 12:00 am, the form reverts back to the text box only and removes all of the other fields and submit.
I found a question from 2014 that said that is was not possible in Jotform and I would like to know if there have been any updates.

You can disable your form based on date.
Just go to your Settings>Form settings>Form status>disable on date.

Hope this information helps.

That will only allow me to disable at a specific time.
I want to be able to automatically turn off every day at midnight and turn back on a 9:00 am.

You can use conditions to hide the fields and use the time field element.
Do note that the time fields current time is form the user's computer/laptop or device time.
Add the time element
and use current time in the default time.
Then use a Show/Hide a condition to hide the submit button.
Sample screen cast:
The submit button will be disabled when it is 4:40 AM.
